What Are the Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Regulations?

Lake Texoma regulations (subject to change):

Striped Bass & Hybrid Striped Bass

  • No minimum length

  • Daily bag: 10

  • Possession limit: 20

  • Only 2 fish 20 inches or longer per day

  • Culling prohibited

White Bass

  • No minimum length

  • Daily bag: 25

Yellow Bass

  • No bag or size limit

Who Needs a Fishing License?

Anyone 16 years or older must carry a valid fishing license.

Because Lake Texoma borders Texas and Oklahoma, we recommend purchasing the:

Lake Texoma Fishing License ($12)

Even if you already hold a Texas or Oklahoma license, the Texoma license covers both sides of the lake.

It can be purchased at:

  • Oklahoma Wildlife Department

  • Local retailers

The Lake Texoma license is valid for one calendar year.
